The Severin Rogue
Functional Art for the Modern Player
We treat every build as a masterpiece. No two Rogues are identical in grain, weight, or character.

The Severin Rogue is the evolution of the modern electric guitar. Designed for players who demand ergonomic comfort without sacrificing a bold, “Metal” aesthetic, the Rogue combines premium materials with innovative hardware.
Precision Neck Construction
The neck is the heart of any guitar. We’ve over-engineered the Rogue’s neck to ensure it stays straight, plays fast, and feels like home.
-
5-Piece Laminated Design
By laminating wood along the grain, we’ve created a neck that is significantly more resistant to warping and breakage than single-piece designs. It’s as stable as it is striking.
-
1962 “C” Profile & 12″ Radius
We’ve paired the iconic feel of a ’62 Strat-style neck with a flatter 12-inch rosewood fretboard-the “sweet spot” for comfortable chording and effortless string bends.
-
Angled Headstock with Volute
Our 10-12 degree headstock angle provides perfect string tension without the need for messy string trees. To ensure maximum strength at this critical point, we’ve added a volute-extra wooden reinforcement that adds durability without affecting your playing.
-
High-Performance Frets
We use Jescar Stainless Steel frets (Medium size). They are virtually immune to wear, and we meticulously polish the ends to prevent “fret sprout,” ensuring a smooth ride up and down the neck.
Innovation in Every Detail
We believe the small things make the biggest difference during a gig or a session.
-
Magnetic Access Plates
Say goodbye to lost screws. Both the truss rod and the shielded control cavities feature magnetic “pop-up” access, making adjustments quick and painless.
-
Dual-Action Truss Rod
Because wood reacts to temperature and humidity, our dual-action rod allows for precise compensation for both “forward” and “back” bow.
-
Hipshot Hardware
Equipped with Grip-Lock Open Gear tuners for lightning-fast string changes and a Brass String-Through Bridge for massive sustain and easy intonation.
-
Tusq XL Nut
Impregnated with Teflon, these nuts allow strings to glide during heavy bends-no graphite or “nut lube” required.
Body & Ergonomics
The Rogue body is designed for the human form.
-
Premium Tonewoods
Typically crafted from Sapele Mahogany with a thick 3/8″ figured top, we select our wood based on the final color palette to ensure the grain and stain react perfectly.
-
Player-Centric Carves
Featuring a deep belly carve, a large forearm bevel, and sculpted access to the higher frets. We use “faux binding” (natural wood edges) to highlight the beauty of the carved top.
-
Custom Pickup Rings
Our proprietary two-ply wooden pickup rings are built for strength-a unique Severin feature you won’t find on other custom builds.
Electronics & Tone
-
Pro-Grade Components
Featuring CTS 500k pots, Orange Drop capacitors, and a Puretone output jack with dual contact points for a rock-solid cable connection. Will work with 90-degree connectors.
-
The Super Switch
Our 5-way Super Switch allows versatile wiring configurations, giving you a massive tonal palette from a single instrument.
-
Custom Pickup Options
Whether it’s the high-output Seymour Duncan Black Winters, the classic JB/Jazz set, or DiMarzio favorites, we voice each Rogue to match its character. *Want something specific? We are happy to swap pickups to meet your signature sound.
-
Strings
Every model is setup with D’Addario XL’s (.10 – .46).
Protection & Security
-
Grover Strap-locks
We ship every Rogue with Grover locks for total security. We even upgrade the factory screws to longer, stainless steel versions for a “never-fail” grip.
